Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Field Sales Area Manager Greece who will join our In Home business. Reporting to Sales Manager In Home Greece you will be responsible for:

  • Driving value and contributing to execution of our commercial plan and brand / trade strategy within the local retail business (national & local accounts & distributors) by leading and coordinating a team of field sales associates.
  • Accountable for negotiation and contracting with assigned accounts, including trade allowances and other contractual conditions, within the constraints of central guidelines, trade allowances, and customer selection criteria;
  • Ensuring that customer insights and other qualitative and quantitative data (e.g. prices, promotions, new competitors / SKUs, etc.) are available to the company via global sales force automation tools and other reporting functionalities.
  • Driving implementation of Operational Excellence learnings and priorities by cascading the right messages and guidelines to sales team.
  • Managing, motivating and coaching sales team to develop their skillset and ensure that high professional standards are achieved and monthly sales and KPI targets are met.
  • Define and monitor trade spend for assigned accounts and provide forecasting information on monthly volumes;
  • Plan and develop local promotions, executing trade marketing strategy towards customers/ channels.

For this role as an Field Sales Area Manager Greece, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • University degree; Master in Business or Economics is considered an asset.
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in Sales; preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Solid FMCG experience & knowledge about negotiation processes.
  • Business acumen combined with an entrepreneurial approach; ability to identify and act upon business opportunities.
  • Fluency both in English and Greek.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills with a market-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical & numerical skills.
  • Market research reports understanding.
